Imperfect Tense.
(if) I, thou, he, ive, you, they planted, jag, du, etc. planterade.
Perfect Tense.
(if) /, thou, he, we, you, they have planted, jag, du, etc. hafve planterat.
Pluperfect Tense.
(if) I, thou, he, we, you, they had planted, jag, du, etc. hade planterat.
To fall: Conjunctive Mood.
Present Tense.
(if) I, thou, he, we, you, they fall, jag, du, etc. falle.
Imperfect Tense.
(if) T, thou, he, we, you, they fell, jag, du, etc. fölle.
Perfect Tense.
(if) /, thou, he, we, you, they have fallen, jag, du, etc. hafve fallit.
Pluperfect Tense.
(if) I, thou, he, ive, you, they had fallen, jag, du, etc. hade fallit.
Anm. To he bildar Imperfect Conjunctive afvikande från den
allmänna regeln:
To be: Conjunctive Mood.
Present Tense.
(if) I, thou, he, we, you, they be, jag, du, etc. vare, blifve.
Imperfect Tense.

Anm. Conjunctive Mood nyttjas numera sällan annat än i högre
stil. Den ersättes vanligen, likasom i svenskan, medelst omskrifning
med de modala hjelpverben (may, might; shall, should; will, would).
Present conjunctive* nyttjas att uttrycka något
obestämdt ell. vilkor ligt i tillkommande tid;** imperfect
conjunctive nyttjas att, uttrycka något obestämdt (ell. vilkorligt)
i närvarande tid, ** i synnerhet efter följande subordinerande
konjunktioner:
* Utom i present och imperf. äro konjunkt. former numera obrukliga.
** Då man afser förfluten tid, nyttjas alltid indikativen.
