Project Runeberg, founded in December 1992, is an open and voluntary initiative to create and collect free electronic editions of classic Nordic literature and art. Project Runeberg fans meet and discuss various topics on an electronic mailing list. October 1995: Project Runeberg's letter to the Swedish parliament, suggesting changes in the proposed new copyright law. Also in Swedish, our leaflet text about Project Runeberg for the 28 October 1995 Book and Library Fair in Gothenburg.
June 1995: A Swedish law proposal makes us hurry to publish Selma Lagerlöf's Mårbackablomster. Public Domain authors who died in 1925-1944 could be brought back under copyright protection! The proposal is stalling in parliament.
