The Kensington stone was found in November 1898 on the farm of Olof Ohman near Kensington, Minnesota. The neighbor Nils Flaten was called in to examine it.
One (the same or another?) Nils Flaten also in Minnesota in 1924 published an edition of Jonas Lie, Lodsen og hans Hustru with notes and a vocabulary.
