us the compliment of inviting many of our
own countrymen to his table that he might
give us an English dinner; but alas! that

many whose education and accomplishments
are as distinguished as their birth, and whose
affable temper and disposition render them

vivacity, wit, and affability, with many
other accomplishments; and to these we
must add, the greatest delicacy of manners.
