great abundance. It cannot be expected in
an excursion of this kind that I should give

Amongst others, the kader, or chader, is
a remarkably fine bird, as large as a
common turkey. The cock is black; the hen
of an orange colour, and not quite so large
as the cock. The hen generally lays about

sprung a Chader; upon walking to the
place he found her nest at the foot of a

the finest game that can be eaten; in size
it is like a young pigeon; its colour black,
