degrees of frost now. The lake
(river) is frozen. I should
like to skate (ski). I hope we
shall have some more snow.
We have not had much snow
this month. — Is the ice safe?
— I think so. — Are you cold?

I think it is dreadfully cold.
The days are getting longer.
We shall soon have spring. It
is rather chilly to-night. I think
it is time we had some fine
weather. We have had enough
