violin, and can whistle almost
any tune.
On the table is a camera,
some photographs (photos) in
frames, and an album with the
snapshots I took last summer.
I don’t develop them myself,
I have them developed at a
photographer’s. Some of them
are excellent, others a bit
blurred (not very clear, have
not come out very well).
Who is that girl in the big
frame? — It is my cousin
Grace. She is a pretty girl,
don’t you think so?
Here is the kitchen. We use
the kitchen range only in the
winter. In the summer we use
a gas stove. On the shelves
we have saucepans, kettles,
pots, frying-pans etc.
On the left side of the
window is a cupboard, where
we keep most of the china,
and on the right hand side is
the larder, which is very airy,
and very nice for keeping the
meat and food cool and fresh.
We also have a bath-room
with hot and cold water. I
have a hot bath once a week
and a shower-bath every
morning.
Please, shut the window,
there is such a draught. Don’t
