My compliments to your brothers. Might not Edward,
if lie has time for some literary occupation, like to translate
into english some selectecl artides from the Litteraturblad
and eventually publish them? — I would willingly overlook
the translation, if desired.
My wife is well and sends her love. In January I hope to
have the pleasure of seeing you and mr. Koch. The
Riksdag I feel will be no pleasing occupation.
Remember me kindly to the Countess Rosen and the
Brehmers when you see them.

My dear Niece —
I am sincerely thankful for your kind lines. Would I
could be möre like what you imagine! — But as there is a
rcality which does you honour in what you feel, I will humbly
accept my part of it and confess that I am very glad to
do so.
I hope to see you before long, but am rather not
presentable just now as this cursed Diet and the general
state of public affairs annoys me a good deal and preys upon
my mind.
I should like to see grefvinnan Rosen, still möre to go
to Årsta, but — — —

Min goda vän! — Jag innesluter min vän Betty
Löwen-hjelms öfversättning af ett par af Miss Martineaus
fattignoveller, tillika med det ena af originalen. De öfriga måste
finnas någonstädes bland mina böcker och jag skall väl leta
reda på dem. Bed Nils ej bli otålig, hvartill han likväl hade
allt skäl.
