Resistentia dissipantur ostendit, dum asserit, fulmen diversimode materiam penetrare, quia valentiora,
atque resistentia vehementius dissipat, cedentia vero nonnunquam sine
injuria transit: cum lapide, ferroque, & durissimis quibuscunque confligit,
Terræmotus. quia viam per illa necesse est quærat: teneris, ac rarioribus parcit, quia minus obsistunt.
Fiunt etiam terræmotus valde vehementes in frigidis illis terris, led raro
noxii, aut durabiles. Vbi autem (vt in Italia ) diutius, & damnabilius fieri
videntur, vt nuper in Scarparia Florentinorum horribile restat editum exemplum:
Remedium saluberrimum fulguris avertendi. tunc antiquus, & fidelis historicus Sigebertus in verbo Constantinopoli sol.
XII. dat tale remedium divinitus revelatum, vt populus, vel clerus devote, & frequenter
cantent: Sanctus Deus, sanctus fortis, sanctus, & immortalis, miserere nobis:
nihil aliud apponentes, vt dicit in forma.

Circuli solares.                                         SOLENT quandoquidem circuli sub hujusmodi imaginibus
                                         versus Septentrionem, altis nivibus terram tegentibus,
                                         circa vernum æquinoctium apparere, tali videlicet
                                        situ: vt amplissimus circulus, per Orizontem sparsus,
                                        totalitet albus est, ita & tres orbiculi, in eius supersifie
                                        divisim appendentes: qui tamen versus Orientem croceo
                                        colore, quasi solem imitantes, distinguuntur. Præterea
                                        ipus solare corpus corona, sive halone, instar iridis, in
                                        colore circundarum est vtroque latere solis imagines puniceo
colore annexas habens: a quibus imaginibus, sive duobus solibus, duo semicirculi
Circuli evanescentesad similitudinem arcuum per transversum sese incidentes, exurgunt, ac
tandem more halorium extensi, evanescunt. Circa vmbilicum, vel centrum amplissimi
circuli, iris est obversa, quæ in tenui nube splendet. Deinde eidem iridi in
colore, situque contraria, alia apparet iris subnigra. Postmodum versus meridiem
per amplissimum circulum transversa iris eadem, & subfusca protenditur, colore
semper variato, quemadmodum fieri solet in arcu, sive iride cœlesti. Hi tamen circuli,
sive halones, vix vltra duas horas cum dimidia durant, semper habentes, vel siti
Circulorum effectus. natura, vel alia quavis secreta ratione, pessimos proxime secuturi temporis eventus,
videlicet portentosa tonitrua, atque fulmina, quæ ædes, & iumenta prosternunt,
captivitates, & occisiones tam nobilium, quam plebeiorum, ac incolarum rapinas,
