                                        ADDVCIT etiam diligentissimus Germanicarum rerum
                                        scriptor Franciscus Irenicus, populos Septentrionales sagittariorum
                                        nomen æquius ab antiquissimo tempore meruissse, Spicula veneno tincta.
                                        eosque solere spicula veneno tingere: quod & Iordanes
                                        asserit, atque Silius:
                                                Dacus in armiseris Gethicæ telluris in oris,
                                                Spicula qui patrio gaudet acuisse veneno.
                                                        Ovidius etiam in Tristibus idem habet.
                                                Pars cadit hamatis misere confixa sagittis.

Quod Ovidius de hamatis sagittis dicit, testatur hoc ipsum modernus vsus, etiamCimbri tricuspi de telo vsi.
