De Garrulis, & Cornicibus, ac Graculis.

CAP. XXV.

GARRVLI sylvestres domesticantur, ac voces articulatas
addiscunt, vt supra dictum est de imperialibus corvis. Distinctio garrulorum & graculorum.
Sed garrulus a graculo natura, coloreque distinguitur: nam
graculus est totaliter niger, de genere cornicum, in Septentrione
rarissime apparens, sed frequens in Germania inferiore:
garrulus autem diverso colore, garritu, ac volatu
lateraliter inter arbores garriendo pervolat: nec quisquam
transire potest, contra quem non garriat importune. Aliarum
avium voces non delectationis, sed garritus causa imitatur. Nisus rapit garrientem.
Vnde garrulitati nimium intendens, a niso rapitur in escam: exemplum ardelionibus
præbens, ne aliena sic scrutentur, vt propria obliviscantur. Habet & omniumExemplum.
volucrum colorem: & intantum furit, & insanit, niso vel catto viso, vt in ramis
arborum se suspendat. Ab juventute domesticatus, diutius garriendo mire loquitur.
