CAP. VII.


                                        CERNITVR in hacimagine supraposita homo pedibus
                                        immersis in aquam, atque illis sanguisugæ adjunctæ: similiter
                                        & equus talem bestiolam ad pedes habens adhærentem:
                                        quod hac ratione factum ostenditur, quia commune
                                        remedium est hominibus & jumentis, superfluum sanguinem, Sanguisugæ vtiles.
                                        sive putridum, in Aquilonaribus terris hujusmodi remedio
                                        tollere, licet illis ordinaria phlebotomia cum ventosis, Phlebotomiæ vsus est in aquilone.
                                        aut corniculis inflamatis haud desit, prout lib. XV.
                                        cap. XXXV. de balneis, & ventosis, ac phlebotomia
reperitur expressum. Verum vt opinio eorum discutiantur, qui perpaucos maxime hujus

denique caseorum. Terræ vermes, qui annulari contractu in directum partes corporisVermes terræ.
gradatim porrigendo moventur, hyeme secundum Aristo. lib. VIII. de animal.
cap. XIIII. in ruinis, seu venis terræ, quo nullum penetrat frigus, præsertim subNix alta terram ne congeletur conservat.
nivibus altis, terram congelari prohibentibus, latitant, dormiunt, atque-conduntur.
Hæc etiam nix talpis viam liberam pro muribus, ac vermibus hujusmodi devorandis
relinquit, quoniam mures sub alta nive inter paludum meatus, ac terræ cavernas discurrunt, Murium via sub nivibus.
