from any bias against manufactured goods coming from
India. The law of supply and demand automatically
decides what sort of articles should pass from one country
to another. If India wants to transfer her trade in raw
products for the more profitable exportation of semi- or
wholly-finished articles, she can do so as soon as she has developed
her manufacturing industry, which will enable her to place
those products on the world’s markets.
