seventeenth century. They are distinguished from the Swedes of pure descent, not
only by their somewhat French names and their dark complexion, but also by the
technical skill and diligence which has been handed down to them as an
inheritance through the centuries.

ECONOMIC DATA, MANAGEMENT &c.

The Company’s share capital, which was originally 3,810,000 kronor, now
a-mounts, after fresh issues of shares, to 20,000,000 kronor, in addition to which there
is a reserve fund of about 16,000,000 kronor.

The value of the yearly productions is 16,000,000 kronor.

The Board of Directors, which has its chief office at Gimo, consists of Carl
Frisk, Esq., Chairman, Hugo Brun din, Esq., Managing Director, Dr. K, G. A.
Lindström, R. A. E. Nilsson, Esq., Captain H. G. R. Peyron and Major C. B. Reuterskiöld.
