| Nils Åzelius Linné, the clergyman’s son from Småland, who became Sweden’s most famed scientist, gathered round his professorial chair at Uppsala a following of disciples from far and near. He also welcomed them to his country home at Hammarby, which has been piously preserved, and which still today attracts pilgrims from afar to admire the natural beauties of the place. |
