The Wargon Company, which, a couple of years previously, had taken over
the Elvestorp Company, bought, in 1915, the Hellefors Works. During 1916 and
1917, the Wargon Company acquired a number of other ironworks with large forest
properties among which may be mentioned the Saxa Works, and the Gravendal,
Wil-lingsberg and Laxa Works Companies, the forest domains of the first two firms
being-contiguous to those of the Hellefors Company. The forest properties and timber trade
of all these Companies are now managed by the Hellefors Works, which is owned
entirely by tbe Wargon Company, Ltd

In addition to the above-mentioned Works, which are situated in the Bergslagen,
