Slottsbron »Sulphite Pulp Mill.

Part of this production can be dried. The mill is driven by a water turbine of 2,200
IIP., besides using 1,200 HP. of electrical energy from the company’s power system.

The mill has 8 wood-grinders of 350 HP. each, of which three are only temporarily
in use, 15 centrifugal assorting machines, 9 refining machines and 16 cardboard-machines.
It employs 90 men.

The goods address is Ottebol Station on the State Railway Laxa—Charlottenberg.
Sea transport can be effected via Jossefors.

The Torsby Wood-pulp Mill is situated in the.parish of Fryksande, at the north end
of the Upper Lake Fryken. The wood-grinding mill was established in 1887. XT

It has a production of 2,500 tons of dry, mechanical wood-pulp of the brand: vpv
The mill is run by a water turbine of 700 HP. and has 3 grinding-machines, 2 refining
machines, 6 cardboard machines and 4 drying departments. It has 40 workmen.

The goods-station is Torsby on the Kil—Fryksdalen Railway. For boat traffic the
address is Torsby.

The Oforsen and Ltljendahl Wood-grinding Mills stand in the
Ramen-Liljen-dahl complex in the parish of Ramen, East Vermland. The Oforsen mill was built
in 1890. The Liljendahl mill was erected in 1883, but was completety reconstructed
after a fire in 1900. Both factories are run by a water-turbine of 1;700 HP. in all
and have together 5 grinders, 4 centrifugal sorting machines, 4 refining]machines, 10
cardboard machines and six drying departments. Their annual pro- j
duction is about 4,500 tons of dry, white mechanical wood-pulp, marked: Made in ¿Sweden
About 85 hands are employed by both the mills.
