Gruvon lias quays for deep-drawing steamers. Shipping can also be done from
Gothenburg, to which port the wood is transported in the company’s barges and by rail.

The company has at Borgvik, near Gruvon, a small saw mill of 3 frames and an
edge-trimmer with an annual production of 3,000 standards. This mill, which is driven
by water-power and lias 35 hands, will most probably be closed down, when the
sawmill at Gruvon has reached its full working capacity.

The timber from the company’s woods along the river Byalven and its tributaries,
is sawn at the Ilillringsberg, Jossefors and Brattne saw mills.

The IIillringsberg Saw-milp lies at the works of the same name in the parish
of Glafva. The mill, driven by a water-turbine of 250 IIP., consists of 3 frames, a
double edge-trimmer, a planer and two cross-cut sans. The capacity is about 4 to 5,000
standards, of which about 6/o are planed, about1/» sawn and 2 » other wood goods. It
emplovs 90 hands.

The goods address for boat traffic is Ilillringsberg and for railway traffic Arvika.

The Jossefors Sawoiill at Jossefors Bruk in tbe parish of Arvika was built in
1913. The motive power, 250 HP., is obtained partly by means of a water turbine’
and partly from the company’s electric power system. The saw-mill has 6 frames and
2 edge-trimmers, and produces about 4,000 standards yearly. The number of
workmen is 40.

The timber is despatched either via Ottebol Station, or by water via Jossefors.

The Brattxe Saw-mill at Brattne Bruk, north of Arvika, is composed of 2 frames,
an edge-trimmer, plane and cross-cut saw. The production amounts to 800 standards
annually. The mill is driven b}r a water turbine of 30 HP. and employs 12 men.

The goods address is Ottebol.

The Ramen Saw-mill. — In the Ramen-Liljendahl complex of works in East
Vermland the company possesses a saw-mill together with a planing-mill and a box-
