factory. This mill is provided with 4 double frames, 1 cross-cut saw, 2 edge-trimmers,
1 machine for making staves, 3 large planing machines, double and single circular
re-saws, a band-saw as well as machines for the making of box materials. The works
are run by a water-turbine of 100 HP., as well as by steam power of 500 IIP. The
annual production amounts to about 500 standards of sawn and planed wood goods,
approximately in equal quantities, and 4,500 standards of box material. The number
of hands is about 200.

Besides the above mentioned saw-mill’s the company has a small saw at BosjoBruk.
Joinery Factory.
The company owns a joinery factory at Borgviks Bruk, employing 40 hands.
Other industrial establishments.
At Hillringsbergs Bruk the company possesses a Hour mill and a
machine-shop with a foundry. The mill, which is driven by a water-turbine of 100 HP,
includes 3 rollers and three pairs of stones.
The engine-shop and foundry are chiefly engaged in supplying requisites and
carrying out repairs for the other industrial establishments of the company. They are
run by a water-turbine of 30 HP. and employ 20 workmen.
Shipping Business.
The company has procured vessels of different types, chiefly for use in
transporting its own finished products and raw materials. These vessels are divided into
three groups, according to their use:
1. A number of tug boats and barges for the transport of raw materials between
neighbouring lading-places and the company’s works and also between the different works.
