LOCAL OBSERVATIONS.

Havefund: the houfe of a merchant, upon an ifland which forms a firait
called by that name. Swnd fignifies a firait.

The North Cape is the moft northern point of Meagre Ifland, in the
Norway tongue called Magerén, under 71° 10’ north latitude.
