Aggregate total of the Fishery Board, ii 24, 122, being
an increase of £ 4,357 on the previons year. Estimated
extra receipts for 1890—91, jjf 8,715, viz., brand fees, £
8,677, and other receipts, & 38. [The amount of herring
brand fees collected in 1889 vas 7,589; and the
expen-diture in connexion therewith was, cost of collection (revised
estimate), 3,876; pensions (proportion chargeable to brand
service), £ 234; stationery, etc., £ 155: total, 4,265;
surplus, £ 3,324. A sum of £ 1,500 a year out of the
annual surplus, or from the accumulated surplus of previous
years, is applied to providing payments under guarantee on
account of the extension of telegraphic communication to
certain districts.]»

Uti underdånig skrifvelse den 13 sistlidne oktober har
Eders Kongl. Maj:ts och rikets kommerskollegium med
öfver-lemnande af »berättelsen öfver Göteborgs och Bohus läns
hafsfisken under 1890—1891» på grund af hemställan från
Eders Kongl. Maj:ts befallningshafvande i nämnda län
tillstyrkt att äfven för 1892 måtte anordnas medel till arfvode
och båtlega åt tillsyningsmannen vid samma läns hafsfisken
och dervid med hänsyn till beloppet hänvisat till hvad samme
Eders Kongl. Maj:ts befallningshafvande anfört.
Den stora betydelse, hafsfiskebedriften eger för
Bohuslän och särskildt för den del deraf, hvilken jag under ett
årtionde representerat i Riksdagens Andra Kammare, i för-
