1 The figures are degrees of frequency found by examination of 10 circular
sample areas, each of 0.1 nr. For species with a frequency of 6—10 a figure is
further added (e.g. Oj. IO7) which denotes the frequency found with use of a smaller
circle with an area of about 0.000 nr\ A plus denotes that the species enters the
vegetation but only so sparse that it is not found in any of the sample areas. The
figures IO2 indicate a frequency dominant with a low density of shoots, and IOjo
such a dominant with a very high density of shoots, cp. BÖCHER (1935).
