Read in Wikipedia about Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Radio Canada International. CBC International Service went from tests to regular broadcasts on 25 February 1945, in 1946 transmissions were added in Czech, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Spanish and Portuguese. Russian and Finnish were added in 1951. Ukrainian and Polish were added in 1953.
These short-wave broadcasting schedules, starting from August 1947,
were digitized by us in March and April 2025. Photos were taken in
high resolution and the OCR text was produced with Tesseract 5.3
(eng+fra+swe).
