St. Andrew’s English Church, Gothenburg.



Built in Gothic style in 1855 and consecrated 1857.
In the year 1691 there was an English reformed
parish, which received religous liberty and the right
to build their own church.

The Church is close to the General Telegraph Office and
Hvitfeldtsplatsen. Sunday services: Holy communion 8:30
on 1st and 3rd Sundays at midday. Matins and Sermon 11.
Evensong and Sermon 6. The church is closed for several
weeks during the summer months. Chaplain The Rev. T.
Jesson, M. A.


The Y. W. C. A. (Swedish K. F. U. K.) is next to the
English Church.
