matter was soon cleared up after the chief of police
telephoned to the border station.
When we arrived in Copenhagen in the evening,
we learned that a news agency had snapped up the
little episode and sent a despatch to its newspapers
to the effect that I had been arrested by the Danish
police. Actually, it was an incident of no importance.
