Hård af Segerstad, »i professor Geijers papperskorg» på
Bofors, dar han som bekant vistades sommaren 1837 hos
brukspatron P. Lagerhjelms och där äfven fröken Hård af S., en
anförvant till familjen, då uppehöll sig. Det var, som man
torde erinra sig, på Bofors som Geijer denna sommar redigerade
de anteckningar som sedermera utgåfvos under titeln Den
Blå Boken.

My dear Mrs Koch! —
Thanks for your lines! — I do not remember anything
liaving been said by you to me that might require an
explana-tion — and I conceive it to be almost impossible that anything
you might, or could, say, should be misconstrued by one who
values you so highly as I most sincerely do.
I wish you health and happiness and hope soon to see
you in full possession of both.
My sincerest thanks to your husband for his kindness! —
I shall be glad to have the books which he had the goodness
to propose sending me, as soon as I am back in my old
quiet corner in Upsala.
My compliments to your brothers!
