Vi ha nu fått fram följande värden för våra fyra konstanter:

Ljusets hastighet	= (2.99780 ± 0.00020) • 1010 cm/sek.
Specifika elektronladdningen	= (1.7585 i 0.002) • 107 e.m.e/gr.
Elektronladdningen	= (4.800 ± 0.005) • 10-10 e.s.e.
Plancks konstant	= (6.610 ± 0.015) • 10-27 erg.sek.

Sommerfelds finstrukturkonstant = ^g är dimensionslös, och
dess inverterade värde skall enligt en hypotes av Eddington vara
exakt lika med 137. Det kan därför vara av ett visst intresse
att räkna ut, vilket tal våra konstantvärden ger. Det visar sig
då att talet blir 136.9 och sålunda inom felgränserna stämmer med
det teoretiska värdet.
