Stockholme, 13. Aug. [1636].
Last post I answered all your former. Procure the printinge of
the conference of Leipsicke in high dutch with some short discourse,
shewing that after soe faire an agreement there is no iust cause of
contention any more, because the points remaineinge are not
necessary for to be determined and not very vsefull, to be further
debated. Assoone as the sentences are printed, let mee haue
some coppies of them, for I will haue good vse of them here in
due tyrne.
I haue now spoken at large with the Lord Channc: and gotten
from him all content & furtherance y:t I can in reason desire. For
hee hath promised to giue mee addresse towards the Professors of
Vpsal & towards the 2 cheif Bishops of this kingdome, and y:t hee
will giue mee letters to make mee to haue free accesse to propose
my busines to them & besides y:t hee him self will labour to dispose
them towards my scope by conference with them. So assoone as
I haue done with those y:t are in this towne, to whom by his
di-reccon I haue applied my self I purpose to set forwards towards
Vpsal, w:ch is the Vniuersitie. So you see y:t now I am in a full
agitacon of the busines. The Lord giue mee grace to enclyne
their harts to ye true way of peace, and p[re]serue mee from giuinge
all offence.

you for your aduertisem[en]ts, they will doe mee good in their owne
way, therefore I pray you contynue in requitall; take notice y:t now
I haue conferred with ye diuines of this towne, whom the L. Channc.
named vnto mee, y:t wee haue agreed very well vpon the chief
meanes and manner of proceedinge in ye busines both here and
else where. Now I am writinge vpon him to make a relation of
what is past & to desire l[ett]res of addresse, w:ch hee promised to
mee towards Vpsal. The publicke affaires take vp all his tyrne &
y:t doth make my proceedings more slow, yet if matters goe soundly
on it is noe danger to goe slowly. If it be gods will to open here
a doré to ye gospell, all ye feates of education will find place and
