marks. Pay one ore to the bishop and twelve to the priest.

The tithes shall be set apart on the field. The priest takes what is due the
church according to its consecration. Then shall the remainder be divided
into three equal parts, one to the bishop, another to the church, and the third
to the poor people.
1. The priest owns all the quicktithe, l) and the offering that to crossfoot
comes on Good Friday. 2)

A freeholder dies within one parish and wishes to be buried within
another, then the priest shall consecrate the corpse and follow as far as to the
garden gate, not farther unless he wishes. Then he shall have one half of the
burial fee, and the other half goes to the priest that receives the corpse.

Should someone wish to give the priest a gift, that is two bushels or one
•örtug.

A man owns a farm in one village and seeds away from home — in another
parish —, then he shall tithe to the priest and church, where the property is
situated, and be responsible for the fence about that church.
1. A man seeds a single field in a village, then he shall leave the priest’s
tithe on the field and all other tithes he shall remove.
2. A freeholder lives in an unsettled district, seek that church which is
nearest to him, if he so wishes.
8. A tenant may not be compelled to seek parish privileges out of the
church village into another parish.

Blood is shed by accident in the churchyard, then shall the sward together
with the blood be cut up and thrown out of the churchyard, and the
churchyard is not defiled thereby.
22.
The priest may not drive anyone from the church, except the one whom
the bishop has forbidden to enter. The freeholders may drive away an
outlawed person, if they wish, no guilt attaches to the priest in that case.
