Skallen synes ved første Øiekast tresidet, men liar en
svag Kjøl paa Siderne mellem Basis og den store Rygkjol.
I nogle Henseender ligner den S. polytrenm. (Schm.)
Det forekommer mig, at det er Laaget af denne Art,
der er beskrevet saaledes hos Montagu:
»lid with a smooth termination, grooved on eacli side for the
reception of two cirri, placed at the base of tlie operculum, which
is corneous, and furnished with a bifid style«.
