The computation according to this formula, I made
by means of two diagram-tables, one of which gives the
value of the scale correction (+ 0°.105 — 0.0072 t), with
t as argument, and the other, tlie value of the
pressure-correction (0.000191 li), with h as argument.

Der synes fra 1877 til 1878 at være indtraadt en
Forøgelse af Nulpunkt-Correction en, fra -)- 0°.02 til
-{-0°.115. Imidlertid stemme Correctionsbestemmelserne fra
1876 meget godt overens med dem fra 1878, og Middel
af C B for 1877 bliver kun lidet forringet (fra + 0».l 13
til + 00.097) ved at benytte for dette Aar en særskilt
Formel med Nulpunktcorrection 0°.02. Jeg har
derfor beregnet den hele Række Sammenligninger under et.
Miller-Casella No. II.

Between 1877 and 1878 there would seem to have
set in an increase of the zero-correction, viz., from -f- 0°.02
to 0°. 115. Meanwhile, the determinations for correction
in 1876 agree very well with those in 1878; and the mean
of C B for 1877 is but slightly diminished (from + 0°.113
to + 0°.097) by using for that year a special formula,
with the zero-correction put at -j- 0°.02. Hence, I have
calculated the whole series of comparisons in one.
