Exemplarer af denne ved vore Kyster meget
almindelige Art blev under Expeditionen indsamlede ved
Hammerfest, i Kjosen, i Saltenfjord og i Porsangerfjord (Ståt.
260). Arten blev forst opdaget af Goes ved Spitsbergen
{Mysk erythropMhalma), og er senere ogsaa noteret fra Nord
amerikas Østkyst, det kariske Hav, den murmanske Kyst
og det hvide Hav, hvorfor den utvivlsomt er at betragte
som en ægte arktisk Form.

Examples of tilis species, a very common one off the
coasts of Norway, were collected on the Expedition at
Hammerfest, in Kjosen, the Saltenfjord, and the
Porsangerfjord (Ståt. 260). The form was first met with by
Goes, off Spitzbergen (Mysis erylhirophthalma), and lias since
been recorded from the east coast of North America, the
Kara Sea, the Murman coast, and the White Sea, whence
it unquestionably must be regarded as a true Arctic species.

Kun observeret linder Expeditionen ved Htiso paa
ganske grundt Vand. Dell er aabenbart en mere sydlig Form,
da den af mig ogsaa er fundet i Middelhavet ved Neapel.

Observed oil the Expedition at Huso only, in very
shallow water, ft is obviously a more southern form, since
I have taken the animal in the Mediterranean, off Naples.

Exemplarer af denne hidtil kun ved Norges Kyster
observerede Form toges under Expeditionen i det ydre af
Sognefjorden (Ståt. 8) og i Vestfjorden (Ståt. 255); begge
Steder paa betydeligt Dyb.

Specimens of this form, till then observed off the
coasts of Norway only, were taken on the Expedition in
the outer part of the Sognefjord (Ståt. 8) and in the
Vest-fjord (Ståt. 255) — in both localities at a considerable
depth.
