a. Twenty Years Purchase of the Amount
of the net annual Receipts (if any) of
public Telegraph Messages received and
forwarded by the Railway Company on
their own Account, reckoned on the Ba
sis of the Receipts derived therefrom
over a continuous Period of TwelveMonths
prior to the Thirtieth Day of June One
thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight:
b. Twenty Times the Amount of the esti
mated annual Increase, calculated upon
the average Increase of the preceding
Three Years of the said Receipts from
Telegraphic Messages, or where the Bu
siness has been commenced within Three
Years calculated upon the Increase du
ring such shorter Period, such annual
Amount in case of Difference to be settled
by Arbitration;
c. All Rents and annual or other Payments
payable to the Railway Company by pub
lic Telegraph Companies during the still
miexpired Periods embraced in their re
spective Agreements, and at the Terms
The Railway Company may shift the Poles,
Wires, and Apparatus helonging to the Post
master General when necessary for the Pur
poses of their Works or Traftic; but in all
such Cases the Postmaster General shall pay
to the Itaihvay Company the actnal Costs
incurred in shifting such Poles and Appa
ratus, but if such Poles support the Wires
of the Railway Company and of the Post
master General, the Cost of shifting the same
shall be apportioned according to the Num
ber of Wires belonging to or respectively
used by the Railway Company and the Post
master General.
The Postmaster General shall pay the Rail
way Company the following Sinns by way

(5.) Jernvei-Kompagniet maa flytte de General-
Postmesteren tilhørende Pæle, Traade og
Redskaber, naar Saadant er fornødent af
Hensyn til dets Arbeider eller Færdsel; men
i alle saadanne Tilfælde skal General-Post
mesteren betale Jernvei-Kompagniet de vir
keligt paaløbne Omkostninger ved Flytuingen
af saadanne Pæle og Redskaber; men der
som saadanne Pæle baade bære Jernvei-Kom
pagniets og General-Postmesterens Traade,
skulle Omkostningerne ved Sammes Flyt
ning fordeles overensstemmeude med det
Antal Traade der tilhøre eller henholdsvis
benyttes af Jernvei-Kompagniet og af Gene
ral-Postmesteren.
(6.) General-Postmesteren skal som Godtgjørelse
betale Jernvei-Kompagniet følgende Snmmer:
a. Tyve Aars Kjøb af Beløbet for Jernvei-
Kompagniets aarlige Netto-Indtægt (om
der er nogen) ved for egen Regning at
modtage og expedere Almenhedens Tele
grammer, beregnet paa Basis af den der
ved havte Indtægt i et fortløbende Tids
rum af tolv Maaneder tidligere end den
BOte Juni 1868:
b. Tyve Gange Beløbet af den anslaaede
aarlige Stigning, beregnet efter de næst
foregaaende tre Aars gjennemsnitlige
Stigning i den nævnte Indtægt af Tele
grammer, eller naar Forretningen har
været paabegyndt i Løbet af de tre
Aar, beregnet efter Stigningen i et saa
dant kortere Tidsrum, saadant aarligt
Beløb i Tilfælde af Tvist at bestemmes
ved Yoldgift:
c. Alle Afgifter og aarlige eller andre Ud
redsler, som skulle betales til Jernvei-
Kompagniet af offentlige Telegraf-Kom
pagnier i de endnu ikke afløbne Tids
rum, som deres respektive Overenskom
ster omfatte, og til de Terminer, som
