MANUFACTURES Statistical returns of industrial production in Norway show that the total number of manufac- turing concerns in 1932 was 3222, with 14,016 salaried employees and 105,807 wage-earners. These figures only include concerns employing more than five workers. The value of the total output was 1261-7 mill. Kroner. The sum of 263°2 mill. Kroner was paid in wages.
