Phosphorsäure und eine nicht näher bekannte Base, die jedenfalls nicht Cholin
ist. Das Cuorin ist autoxydabel und gibt die PETTENKOFERSche Gallen-
säureprobe.
Das Cuorin ist amorph, gelbbraun, harzähnlich. Mit Wasser gibt es eine
neutrale, emulsionsähnliche Lösung. Es reduziert nicht die FEHLiNGsche
Lösung, selbst nicht nach Kochen mit einer Säure. Es ist löslich in Äther,
Chloroform, Petroleumäther und Schwefelkohlenstoff. In Benzol löst es sich
schwerer; es ist unlöslich in Äthyl- und Methylalkohol und Azeton. Aus
Alkohol-Ätherlösung wird es gefällt von Kadmium- oder Platinchlorid.
