By a decision come to at the Company’s ordinary meeting in 1919 the name of the Company has been abbreviated from the "Bofors-Gullspång Company Ltd.," to the
"Bofors Company Ltd.," a measure adopted exclusively for practical reasons.

Having now seen how Bofors has expanded from insignificance into an industrial
establishment of international importance, we shall now proceed to give a more detailed
account of its present resources and its productions. We shall commence with the

MINES AND ORES.

It is hardly likely that any other munition factory in the whole world has such
superb iron ores at its disposal as Bofors. We give below a few analyses of ores from
the famous ore-fields of Striberg, Timansberg, Haggruva and Tuollavara, in which the
Company is the chief shareholder. The figures denote the percentages.
