After the lapse of almost three centuries, the same works that were once in the
possession of the great Louis De Geer, are once more united under one and the same
management. This fusion has been brought about for the purpose of better being able
to utilize the great natural resources possessed by the various works. It is to be hoped
that this end may be attained, and that these works have a long and prosperous
future before them. There is every reason to entertain this hope, for they possess
the very finest raw material, are under the direction of able managers, have a zealous
and scientifically trained staff, clever workmen and–not least–proud traditions
from a long and successful past.
