Impressions of Sweden.

By a Scotch Tourist.

In recent years Scandinavia has become a favourite tmiring
gronnd; and each June additional facilities are being provided
for those pleasure-seekers who prefer the bold scenery and
bra-cing air of the northern countries to the subtler beauties of
Southern Europé with its more enervating climate.

the spire of Trollhätta Church on the heights beyond, and
mayhap joins the birds in a morning prayer, his thoughts, if

Trollhättan passed, the huge inland sea of Wener is crossed,
and the sameness of its hundred miles of water is relieved
