Den 17 martii gingo bisperna åther medh prästaskapet up för
h. f. N. och vidare begiärade af h. f. N., att han ville samptligen medh
them underskrifva och bevilia, hvadh in concilio beviliat och samtyckt
var. Hvar till h. f. N. svarade sigh ingalunda thet giöra vilia, uthan
att the medh h. f. N. samtycka ville, att exorcismus kunne medh ett
gott samvet afläggas. Tå steg m. Ericus Jacobi afsides och hemligen
skref på en zedel, att exorcismus kunne medh ett gott samveth af-
läggas och effther en christeligh frihet hållen varda, som andra christe-
liga ceremonier. Ther till svarade åther h. f. N. att exorcismus var
icke nogon ceremonia, uthan actio quzaedam, och sade än tå vidare
att han ville skrifva till the lärdaste academier, som i Tysklandh finnas
kunne, och then besked skulle innan 6 eller 7 vekor til thet högsta
komma till baka igiän, och the skulle sättia en vaxnäso på Sveriges
prästerskap, som exorcismum försvara ville; item att ther nogor präst
kom, som ville bruka exorcismo hos h. f. N., så skulle han blifva
afdankat medh en el[d]gaffel. Svarade m. Nicolaus Both[niensis] och
sade, om the icke hafva nogon bätre besked än vi, så känne vi them
föge godh före att sättia nogon vaxnäsa på oss.
Tå stegh m. Ericus Schepperus [fram?] och sade h. f. N., huru
saken hade sigh, nempligen att hela concilium sig ther öfver mökit
besvärade, att then confession, som samtyckas skulle in concilio, skulle
blifva them förestält och föreskrefven uthaf hofvet, och kunne så icke
kallas liberum concilium. Begärade för then skull alle samptligen, att
s[cilicet] concilii et principis,
unum tertium skulle ex duobus datis
blifva componerat och sammanstält, hvilket och så skedde.

cedere velle de sua sententia et sententia concilii e conformare vel
saltem ad hanc quam proxime inclinare, protestatio illa Norlandensium
non recitabatur.
