Reaumur,92 who has written about steel in France, has
come here, and is at the College; from what I have seen of
him already, I consider him to be a clever scientific man .
At present I have only time to think of my preparations to
travel again to Örebro; but after my return, I will set apart
a certain time each day, which I will employ for things useful
in science and literature.
When you answer Dr. Sloane 93 in England, you may
mention that we have spoken on the subject together; and
that I am willing to correspond with them on matters con
nected with metallurgy, if they are willing to print it at
their own expense ; for were I to go on printing at my ex
pense, I should lose as much by it as I did formerly; moreover
I should not take the time afterwards to keep an account of
these printed works.
