EXTRACT FROM THE MINUTES OF 1717.*
April 6. §. 1. Inasmuch as Mr. Emanuel Swedberg, who was
appointed by His Royal Majesty to be extraordinary Assessor
in the College of Mines, has now made his appearance ; there
fore, as a beginning of his introduction the royal decree which
had been received, was read. Afterwards the above-named
Assessor, after delivering to the Royal College the formulary
of the oath signed by himself, took the oath of loyalty and of
office, with his hand upon the book, and then took the seat
belonging to him .
[The following is a copy of this Royal Warrant, which is
preserved at the College of Mines :)
