28 PASSIVE MOVEMENTS:
For the Sacral, Gluteal, and Perineal Eegions, we keep the
hands closed, but not firmly so. The stroke in the first two
cases is applied with the anterior part of the closed hand (fig.

15); in the last, with the radial side (fig. 16), because otherwise
it cannot well enter the perineal space.

Tapotement in these places is made in connection with the
treatment of constipation, disorders of the bladder, male and
female generative organs.
