be apparent that we cannot roll the head round as many times
as an arm or leg, and the latter not so frequently in acute as in
chronic affections, or when the rolling forms part of a general
treatment.

and flexion, we must always carry out each individual movement
to the utmost possible limit, exception being made in the instance
of the head.
