Den i Bot. Beg. givne Figur af den dyrkede Plante svarer
ikke saa godt til de foreliggende Exemplarer som den
sammesteds givne Beskrivelse og den af Choisy forfattede Diagnose,
men selv i disse findes omtalt Forhold, der ikke ganske ere
saaledes, som de forekomme hos Congoplanten, navnligt gjelder
dette om Blomsterstanden; dog er Bægerbladenes Form saa
udmærket, at denne Art ikke kan forvexles med den nærstaaende
lp. zebrina Perrott. fra Senegal. Artens nærmeste Forekomst
falder i det ostlige Asien.
