Lily Emma Peterson
daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A. G. Peterson in Galva,
111., was called to her heavenly home June 17, 1925.
Born in Galva March 26, 1906, in the same house
where she departed this life, she was reared in the
fear of God; and under the favorable atmosphere
of a Christian home she grew into gracious
woman-hood. Por nineteen beautiful years, she was the
sunlight of that home and a loving and dutiful
daughter. She was also a favorite among her
com-panions. T’hough health began to fail, owing to
the strenuous preparation for her graduation in the
High stihool, she persisted in her work and obtained
the coveted goal. The effort was too great,
how-ever, for her eonstitution and scarcely twoo weeks
after her spirit returned to the God who gave it.
The loss is great to the family and to the church,
but let us believe that our Heavenly Pather doeth
all things well.
