The Fridafors Fabriks Aktiebolag is the owner of the Fridafors Wood Puli» and
Pasteboard Factory, situated at the Fridafors railway station, in the Swedish province called
Smaland. The factory is excellently situated for export, being only a short distance bv
rail from several ports on the west and south coasts of Sweden.
The Works are equipped with fully up-to-date machinery, and are driven by water
power, the full amount of which is 2,400 IIP. The machinery is first class, and consists
of 7 grinding machines (warm grinder) and, in the pasteboard works there is, among
other apparatus, 1 cardboard machine of a working breadth of 210 eras. 7 feet).
The Company, with a capital of Swed. Kronor: 2,275,000 £. 120,000 has its own forest
estates, embracing 8,000 hectares 20,000 acres . The yearly manufacture amounts to about
5,000 tons machine made wood pulp boards.
The production has the following qualities and marks: L. B. brown Wood Pulp board
ordinary and waterproof W. P. White Wood Pulp board.
