Jag kiöpte arbetet och husen, jag gav 150 dolor sen har

163 äkers som kostade 1% dels doler for ackris ti 1

hus är här 1 sätlamentet så att ingen behöva vara husvll

My good Herr Pastor:
.. .For the spiritual life we are in need of help. We
gather every Sunday and read and sing, but we need
more edification anyway... We have had a minister here
ty the name of Agrelius. He expounded the word of God
well, but we dared not partake of communion generally
because he had a different religion. We are longing for
Rev. Carlsson’s visit in the spring... The land is fertile
and we live around a lake that is full of fish... I bought
the improvement and the buildings and paid 150 dollars.
Later I bought a pair of oxen and three cows, and I have
paid for 163 acres at the land office. They cost $1.25 per
acre, or a total of $204... Here is a great abundance of
land. There are houses here in the settlement so that
nobody need be without a house while he is building o
home. But they ought to come early so that they have
