Während des folgenden Tages sank der Wasserstand beträchtlich,
bis die aus fester Moräne bestehende Abflussschwelle erreicht war. So
war die Seeoberfläche am 16/s 135 cm niedriger als einige Tage vorher.
Es ist diese definitive Abflussschwelle, die 1,5 m über dem
Hochwasserniveau des Fjords liegt.
Die Fänge, mit Netz und Bodendretsche, wurden teils von einem
Zeugboot aus etwa 50 — 100 m vom Ufer ab, teils vom Ufer aus, teils
am Abfluss vorgenommen.
