Distribution: — In the Atlantic from lat. 79° 58’ N. (C. M’. S. AüRIVILLIUS, 1899) to lat.
55° S. (G. W. MULLER, 1906 a) and the Indian Ocean. On the other hand I know of no
information about this species occurring in the Pacific (cf. G. A. MÜLLER, 1912).
