gammal stockholmsk handelssläkt af hvilken flera å senare tiden äfven gjort sig bemärkta å andra områden. Redan Arfwed Andersson, död 1684 var handelsman i Stockholm, och antogs namnet af hans son, handlanden Anders Arfwedsson, död 1706, och bibehölls af dennes barn.
